Persian Fire Festival Melbourne – March 2024
AISOV was proud to welcome the community back to Melbourne’s Persian Fire Festival after a three-year pause. On the last Tuesday evening of the Persian year, the community gathered to honour the ancient tradition of Chaharshanbeh Suri.
We thank everyone who attended for their warm presence and patience throughout the event, especially where long queues formed around the venue.
AISOV and partner organisations worked as a group of around 40 volunteers from December 2023 onward to plan, coordinate and deliver the celebration. We are grateful to the sponsors, volunteers, artists, stallholders and community groups who helped make the gathering possible.
