Chaharshanbeh Suri is a significant Iranian festival celebrated just before Nowruz. It is a cherished cultural gathering that brings families, friends and the broader community together.
The Melbourne celebration last took place in 2019 and attracted more than 7,000 participants, making it one of the largest gatherings of Iranians in Victoria.
In 1402, the celebration was planned alongside the Taste of Persia food festival, creating a richer cultural experience with food, music, community stalls and family-friendly activities.
