Clear pathways to trusted support
People may need different kinds of information and support at different stages of life. For newcomers and long-standing community members alike, navigating unfamiliar services can be difficult—particularly when language, cultural context or uncertainty creates a barrier.
AISOV strengthens connections between the Iranian community and trusted organisations across Victoria. Our role is to make information easier to understand and point people towards services that may be relevant to their circumstances.
What a strong referral network provides
Reliable information
Sharing clear, practical and culturally informed information from credible community and service sources.
Community partnerships
Building relationships with not-for-profit organisations, local services and community groups to improve awareness and coordination.
Respectful connections
Helping people identify useful next steps while respecting privacy, individual circumstances and personal choice.
How stronger networks help
A connected referral network can support the community by:
- sharing reliable service and community information
- identifying emerging needs and gaps affecting Iranian Victorians
- connecting people with relevant organisations and programs
- collaborating with culturally responsive community partners
- helping newcomers better understand available support
AISOV does not replace professional services. Information and referrals are offered as a starting point, with respect for each person’s privacy, circumstances and right to choose what is appropriate for them.
Not sure where to begin?
If you are looking for community information or trying to identify a relevant service, contact AISOV. We will listen, explain the options we know about and, where possible, help you identify a practical next step.
